Licensed users in your organization who will be accessing the RapidStart Field Service app will need the “RapidStart Dispatcher” security role assigned. Users with the System Administrator and System Customizer roles can also access the Dispatchers app. Note: This is not the Technicians’ mobile app, see sidebar for that.
A System Administrator can assign the RapidStart Dispatcher role from this RapidStart Settings app. Click on Users in the Sidebar.

If you do not see the user, it means they do not currently have any RapidStart Role, click the view selector to switch to “Available Users”. From either view click on the User’s name.

Assign the “RapidStart Dispatcher” role by ticking the box. Your user should now have access to the Dispatchers App.
The RapidStart Field Service App sends status alerts to your Service Contacts when a Service Appointment is scheduled, and when the Technician updates the status on their mobile app. By default, these emails come from the Work Order owner which is usually the Dispatcher. In order for the system to send these automated emails, the Dispatcher will need to allow it by clicking on the gear in the upper right (1) to go to their Personalization Settings, then click the email tab (2), then tick the box (3). If you have not previously done so, you may need to enable the user’s mailbox following these instructions.
